Inspection and Operation of Straightening Adjustment Frame

Dec 05, 2025

Straightening Adjustment Frame on high speed nail making machine is mainly used for straightening iron wire.

Straightening is the first step in nail making equipment, so whether the iron wire is straight or not is crucial to the normal operation of this model. Therefore, it is essential to understand and be able to operate the adjustment frame independently.

The adjustment frame structure mainly consists of a "main support," "left and right straightening rollers," and "upper and lower straightening rollers." The "left and right straightening rollers" are further divided into "fixed rollers" and "adjusting rollers" (pressure rollers, adjusting rollers). Similarly, the "upper and lower straightening rollers" are also divided into "fixed rollers" and "adjusting rollers" (pressure rollers, adjusting rollers).

Adjustment Method:
1. When reloading or changing specifications, first tighten the six "pressure rollers" using the adjusting screws to ensure straightening effect (note that the rollers should not be tightened too much). Loosen the four pressure rollers and then check the bending of the wire passing through the adjustment frame.

2. If it is bent to the left or right, adjust the tightness of the "left and right straightening adjusting rollers" using the "left and right straightening adjusting screws" until the wire exits without bending in the left or right direction.

3. If the wire is bent vertically, adjust the tension of the vertical straightening adjustment roller using the vertical straightening adjustment screw until the wire is straight in both directions.

Note: Specific situations require actual operation. Unstraightened wire can cause machine tool malfunctions such as premature wear and tear on the AT5-2000-25 timing belt, and flattened nails.

Please notice that wavy lines and spiral lines are difficult to straighten.
