Glued Collated Steel Fiber Making Machine

Glued steel fiber is produced from cold-drawn high tensile low-carbon steel wire. Individual hooked steel fibers are bonded into rows by water-soluble adhesive. When mixed into concrete, the glue dissolves quickly in water, separating fibers evenly inside the concrete matrix and effectively preventing fiber balling. With double hooked ends, fibers form firm anchorage with concrete, restraining crack propagation, improving flexural strength, abrasion resistance, impact resistance and structural toughness. It is widely used in industrial floors, tunnel shotcrete, highway pavement, bridge decks and precast concrete components. Specifications can be customized in length, diameter and tensile strength, complying with ASTM A820 and EN 14651 standards.
