A standard fully automatic line follows a sequential process through multiple specialized machines:
Wire Drawing Machine: Draws raw steel wire coils down to precise nail diameters, such as 2.1mm or 2.5mm.
High-Speed Nail Making Machine: Automatically cuts wire and heads it to produce individual nails. Top-tier 2026 models like the ENKOnail+ NX03 can produce up to 2,500–3,000 nails per minute.
Nail Polishing Machine: Uses a rotating drum (often with sawdust) to remove burrs and oxide layers, improving weldability and appearance.
Thread Rolling Machine: Rolls screw or ring threads onto the nail shanks to increase holding power.
Coil Nail Collating Machine: The central unit that aligns nails (typically at 15° or 16°), welds them to copper-plated wire, applies anti-rust coating, and rolls them into coils.
Automatic Rubber Banding System: Modern 2026 lines automatically secure finished coils with rubber bands and push them to a platform for final packaging, eliminating the need for workers to catch coils by hand.
