Introduction
Roofing Nail Caps are a key component of corrugated nails (also known as color steel nails or roofing nails). Their main functions are to increase the contact area, prevent penetration of the fixed material, and in conjunction with rubber gaskets, achieve a waterproof seal.
Core Functions
Pressure Distribution:
Increases the contact area between the nail head and the sheet material, preventing damage to the surface of the color steel sheet, asbestos roofing sheet, or plastic roofing sheet during tightening.
Waterproof Sealing:
Typically used in combination with rubber gaskets (EPDM, etc.) to form a "nail + cap + gasket" integrated structure, filling gaps in the nail hole and preventing rainwater leakage.
Enhanced Pull-Out Resistance:
A larger head diameter provides stronger gripping force, resisting pull-out forces from wind loads.
