These machines use a friction-based process where nails rub against each other and a polishing medium (usually sawdust or paraffin) inside a rotating drum.

Key Components for "Super High-Speed" Lines
Reinforced Drum Wall: Look for a minimum plate thickness of 10mm to 12mm. Thin drums will warp or "egg" under the weight of 2 tons of nails.
Dual-Drive System: For the 2000kg model, a dual-gear or heavy-duty chain drive is preferred over single belts to prevent slipping during the initial "startup torque."
Dust Extraction Port: Modern environmental standards require a port to connect to a Cyclone Dust Collector. This sucks out the fine metal dust and sawdust during the tumble.
Automatic Discharge: High-capacity drums should be "Tilting" or "End-Gate" models. Manually shoveling 2 tons of nails is inefficient and negates the speed of your production line.
The Polishing Process (3-Step Method)
Degreasing (15 mins): Load nails with a small amount of sawdust. The sawdust absorbs the cooling oil used in the high-speed nail maker.
Rust Removal (30-60 mins): If nails have rust, acidic cleaning agents or abrasive media are added. For standard bright nails, the friction of the nails hitting each other removes the "skin" of the wire.
Final Buffing (15 mins): A fresh batch of fine sawdust or a dash of Paraffin Wax is added. This creates a protective coating that prevents flash-rusting while the nails are in the warehouse.
