Rolling Machine Threading Die

Rolling Machine Threading Die

Main Annular Thread-Rolling Wheel (Large central ring) The core forming component of the machine; features three rows of diamond-patterned anti-slip rolling grooves. Its hollow bore mounts directly onto the nail-making machine's main spindle, enabling continuous rolling of the nail shank to mass-produce threaded or twisted-shank patterns. Segmented Arc-Shaped Thread-Rolling Blocks (Set of 5 modules) Comprises three upper and two lower arc-shaped modules serving as auxiliary clamping and shaping components. Worn blocks can be replaced individually without replacing the entire main rolling wheel, significantly reducing consumable costs.

Description

Standard Materials

  • Standard: Cr12MoV die steel, DC53 cold-work die steel; high-performance wear-resistant version uses cemented carbide or V3N high-speed steel.
Heat Treatment: Vacuum high-temperature quenching followed by cryogenic tempering; finished hardness of HRC 58–63; offers excellent wear and impact resistance, minimizing the risk of tooth chipping.

Surface Patterning Process

  • Precision-milled diamond cross-knurled patterns featuring multiple circumferential zones; uniform rolling pressure ensures consistent thread depth, preventing defects such as thread slippage or incomplete patterns.

Key Advantages

Cost-saving modular design: Replace only the specific worn segment rather than the entire ring assembly, reducing downtime and consumable costs.
Exceptional service life: High-hardness die steel handles high-strength iron and galvanized wire; minimal wear even during high-volume production (10,000+ units/day).
Stable forming precision: Uniform tooth profiles ensure consistent thread depth and pitch, resulting in high product yield rates.
Versatile compatibility: Customizable tooth profiles and inner diameters; supports production of various concrete and threaded nails ranging from 1.6mm to 6mm in diameter.
Easy installation/removal: Standardized inner bore dimensions ensure compatibility with most domestic high-speed nail-making machines for simple replacement.

Usage and Maintenance Guidelines

Ensure coaxial alignment between the rolling wheel and segmented dies during installation to prevent uneven loading and tooth chipping.
Continuously apply cooling lubricant during production to minimize high-temperature wear and extend die life.
Replace only the specific worn arc segment; the main ring can be reused long-term provided there is no extensive damage.
Apply anti-rust oil during prolonged shutdowns to prevent corrosion of the tooth profiles, which could compromise forming quality.
